Getting you to the finish line in comfort and style.
Founded in 1997 by Chris Jackson, an avid cyclist and Nordic skier, Borah Teamwear has become a leading custom sports apparel company in North America. We now produce apparel for cycling, running, triathlon, Nordic, and alpine skiing, and casual wear.
All of us at Borah Teamwear have experienced and seen the exhilaration, joy, and health benefits that come from participation in endurance sports. We bring that knowledge to our products and service in providing you with high-‐quality custom sports apparel for clubs, events, professionals and individual enthusiasts. We work directly with sports teams, and we offer retail programs for bike shops and breweries. We also offer several exclusive made-‐to-‐order collections.
Based in the scenic driftless region of Southwestern Wisconsin, our product development team has access to thousands of miles of road riding and mountain biking and ski trails that serve as the perfect testing ground for products that will go above and beyond customer expectations. Extensive research, fabric testing, and pattern adjustments are standard protocol before we release anything to market. And believe us, it’s a daily routine! We also have a “no shortcuts” philosophy that truly defines us. It means doing things the right way vs. the easiest way.
We employ a team of sports apparel experts, and we produce one-‐hundred percent of our product line in our design and fabrication facility in Wisconsin. This gives us total control of our manufacturing process, allowing us to ensure each and every customer the luxury of high-‐quality, USA-‐made products, delivered on time, every time, as expected. We offer easy options for product customization (link to 3 Ways to Customize on FAQ page), and our service process includes 3D product renderings for approvals to ensure our customers know exactly what they’re getting.
Borah Teamwear is green, too – really green, if you think about it. By producing our products in the U.S.A. (the number one thing an apparel company can do for sustainability, in our opinion), we reduce our carbon footprint while building our local and national economies. Our 2015 solar installation (link to press release) generates nearly 50% of our electricity. Every year, we recycle thousands of pounds of paper (a byproduct of our printing process). We use water-‐based inks and we incorporate many green practices into our daily routine.
Creating a positive and healthy work environment is also at the top of our list. That’s why we do things like Tai Chi Thursdays, paid exercise time, and other healthy initiatives to take the best care of our valued employees. It is our intention that you will feel as good about wearing our products as we do about making them.
